All About Me…

Nice to meet you!

Hi! I’m Danielle Brown, an artist who enjoys working in many different mediums. I’m a crazy cat lady who loves Dragons and other Mythological creatures, and a huge fan of fantasy colored hair.

When not making art, I love playing video games with my friends- being in New Jersey, this helps me stay in touch with my friends from all over the world. World of Warcraft has been a huge part of my life for over a decade! I don’t play it as often now due to time, but I love my Hunter and pets. There’s just something amazing about exploring a beautiful fantasy world filled with amazing creatures.

Detailing my car is also something I enjoy. I take pride in making my car look the best it can. Sometimes it ends up being a lot of work, but it’s so worth it. It’s just such a great feeling seeing the fruits of your labor.

A History of Art…

I’ve been interested in art since I was a child. I won an award in Elementary school with a picture stating that I wanted to be an artist when I grew up. My schoolwork was always littered with doodles, and I was constantly drawing.

I’d won various contests as I got older, had pieces featured in art shows, and my art was featured in a few High School publications including yearbooks. I was commissioned to make a mural for an Elementary school library my senior year of High School- and it is still displayed to this day!

I never attended college, much to the dismay of many- and it took me a very long time to finally pursue a place in the art world. I knew I wanted to make art- I just didn’t know how to go about anything further.

A Little Bit of Everything…

I always have my hands in a bit of everything- if it is something creative- I probably mess around in it. I love glitter, color shifting and glow in the dark pigments- so working with epoxy resin and acrylic paint lets me utilize this love to make some wild art projects!

My art interests reach from resin casting, painting, digital art- even Pyrography (woodburning)! I’m always learning, and enjoy trying new things.

You can find my art (some is for sale!) on my gallery page. This website is still very much a work in progress as I am juggling starting my own brand, build an online presence, and of course- DO ART!

Thank you for visiting my website, and for taking a bit of time to learn about me.
